The threading die should screw onto the workpiece's thread manually, without excessive force, along its entire length. If this isn't possible, the thread doesn't meet the required standards (defective). The reference temperature for parts and gauges is 20°C. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate. Calibration is performed in an independent lab, following specified standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI), using IAC thread scanners.
- Manual Threading Test: The Gewindelehrring should screw onto the Werkstück's thread smoothly by hand, without excessive force
- Thread Quality Check: If the Gewindelehrring cannot be screwed on, the Werkstück's thread does not meet the required standards (rejected)
- Reference Temperature: The Werkstücke and Lehren are calibrated at 20°C
- Certification & Calibration: VÖLKEL offers a Werkskalibrierschein upon request. Calibration is performed independently in a lab following DIN, ISO, ANSI standards using IAC-Gewindescanner
